Issaquah Gold Wins a Close One Over Bellevue Blue
Contributed by Jim Lucas

These are the types of games everyone loves to watch, Saturday's battle between Issaquah Gold and Bellevue Blue was a great head to head match-up on Saturday.

As you can see from the box score this was a very close and exciting game.  Bellevue had the edge in shots on goal close to 2 to 1.  Going into the 4th quarter at Chinook Middle School, it was Issaquah 5, Bellevue 3.  After Bellevue scored their 4th goal with about one minute left in the game, Issaquah cannot clear the ball and turns the ball back over to Bellevue.

Bainbridge Beats Mercer Island 5-2

Another wild night for Mercer Island and a great game of Lacrosse.  I think Coach Visco said it didn't matter if Bainbridge won or lost this game, and I think Mercer wanted to dominate. Though a little cold, there was no sign of the hail that pelted Seattle earlier- but the rain had softened the turf in the Bainbridge stadium setting the playing field for another great match up.
