Overlake High School is seeking a qualified Varsity coach for its men's lacrosse program. Collegiate level playing experience is a must for all applicants. Previous coaching experience preferred. A demonstrated commitment to sportsmanship and player development is required. The qualified individuals will have: Leadership and motivational skills, strong knowledge and passion for the game, ability to lead this group of players to compete at a high level. We stress passion, commitment and integrity as core principles of success. Competitive compensation to the right individual. The season runs from February to May 2008. Coaches should be available for practices 5 nights/week starting late February, with games during the week. Coaches in our school report to and receive strong support from the Athletic Director and can concentrate fully on the players and the games. Issaquah Youth Lacrosse is seeking a qualified Program Director for our Lightning Division (2-4th Grade). IYL is the largest boys youth lacrosse club in Washington (350+) We expect to have 10-12 teams in our Lightning program this Spring. This is a 10-week, 2 evening per week program. Wed (practice) and Fri (practice/game) for 90 minutes. All events are at one location. This role is a "Coach the Coaches" role with responsibility for supervising the HS player refs. This is the 3rd year, 6th session for this Fall & Spring program. Fall availability not required. This is a paid position. 2 night/weekend practices and Saturday games. All high school coaches receive a $2000 stipend. No lacrosse experience is necessary. We are looking for the right person who wants to build a strong program. TYLA will give you the training and resources needed to be an effective lacrosse coach. Responsibilities include: Planning and running practice/games Monday – Friday. Vashon Lacrosse Club is seeking applicants for two Coaching Fellowships for the 2007 season. These positions will run from February 2007 through May. Each position will pay a $2,000.00 stipend. The VLC will provide housing on Vashon Island at no cost for the months of February through May. Responsibilities will be to assist the head coach of our boys High School program and also assist the head coach of the 7th/8th boys Youth program. The ideal candidate will have college lacrosse experience and have an interest and enthusiasm for working with young players.

2007 Positions
Queen Anne Quik Styx. An established girls lacrosse club is looking for both a Middle School (7th/8th grade) and Youth (5th/6th grade) coach for the Spring 2008 Season. The position can be held by a single coach, or by separate coaches for each level. Both are paid positions. Practices will be twice weekly at Queen Anne Bowl. Games are mostly on Saturdays. Issaquah Youth Lacrosse is seeking a qualified Program Director and Head Coach for our emerging Girls 5/6th, 7/8th grade lacrosse program. IYL sponsored a girls' team of 24 in the 5/6th grade league in 2006 with over half now having played 2-3 yrs. New Multi-million dollar lighted, field-turf lacrosse complex at Skyline High school includes permanent boys’ and girls’ lacrosse-lined fields.

Bellevue High School Girls Lacrosse is looking for a Varsity Head Coach for the upcoming 2007 season. The Wenatchee Valley is forming a new girls/womens lacrosse club. We are a brand new team looking for volunteer coaches who have experience playing women's lacrosse. Because Lacrosse is new to the central Washington region, we hope to network with other new teams forming in the state to help us develop our skills. Our players range in age from 12-18 and are extremely enthusiastic, many have recently attended lacrosse camps at Mercer Island High School with Meg Elston, and at the University of Washington with Pepperdine coach, Paul Ramsey.
