Men's 'C' League Plays Inaugural Game

Some of you have asked about the 'C' league of Men's Lacrosse and whether or not it will exist.  Last year, every club team pitched in to throw an introductory clinic for each of the Men's 'C' league participants to get the guys rolling, but it did not take long to catch the bug.

After a successful clinic session during the Spring last year, the revolutionary group of 30-40 guys practiced together throughout the summer and fall preparing for a landmark event- the first ever 'C' league games in the Spring of 2006.  The beginners played in the first Seattle Area C-League game at Queen Anne bowl on March 18, 2006!   The Finn McCools White team managed to edge out the Finn McCools Dark team 5-3.

Does this mean there are only two teams?  Anyone interested in committing or playing or feeling out the game of Lacrosse, contact the 'C' League Commish, Robert Chinnepongse.  The goal is to have multiple teams and allow players to move vertically in the league as well.  Right now, there is room for a few more good men to participate in the Spring.

Want to see what these guys are all about?  try to catch a game or two, here is the C-League Schedule:
