Who will be top players in the future, especially freshmen. I know Connor Beckwith is a beast on D for Mercer, but what other Frosh in the state, both D1 and D2, do you all think will be future stars?

But now since the feeder program within curtis's lacrosse is finally catching up, Curtis will hopefully start flourishing. The situation is alot like Vashon, as both the Vashon and Curtis Youth premier 7/8 teams were very talented as i watched from a reffing point of view.

This may be a little bias... but Vashon has 22 incoming freshmen. Some of which are VERY talented.

We all seem to be living in some type of megalomania where a freshman that gets playing time on a successful team is some deity sent from the Lacrosse Heavens. Beckwith will be good, but what player wont that plays on a team like MI, BI, Issy, Garfield, Bellevue, etc.?What team doesnt take a few freshman with potential and dedication and place them on their team knowing they wont make that much of a difference? Every top team does. After all this thread is the "Upcoming Talent" thread, not "Lets call the youngest player who's sort-of-good on my team a future all-americam".

Ok so 5 AA's from one state is a hard task to complete but what I think our fellow compandre is trying to say is that these five players are very good. In which I agree with him. Also though the class of '10 from washington is going to produce the best recruting class to ever come from washington state. We're going to see many players play college ball. And at a lot higher level than you Mason. There are no hand down all americans all ready from that class unlike other years, such as this last one. Anyone could have predicted that greg dylan and bryan would go AA but as the talent gets better that will become less obvious. which is good. Airmaxofdoan whatever your name is you need to chill, its lax not football no need to be calling people hicks that probably make more money in a month than you will in a year. You just make yourself sound stupid.
Cole Nordstrom is a very good player and the matchup from here on out is going to be Cole Nordstrom and Conner Beckwith every year those two will go at it and in doing so will create the best long term 1v1 match up in washington lax.
So mason, you and your little airfairy friend should move on and stop dwelling in the past of high school lacrosse. You never did anything impressive and have no right to sit behind your computer and try to infect the lacrosse community with awful knowledge of washington lax. so move on and let the rest of us forget you.

well just so you know, my old team and mason's old team don't have a very friendly history. so you have to understand that YOU must be the huge tool since i find myself agreeing with someone from issaquah than someone from MI. and that one comment in particular might not have been about bringing down other players, but you straight up call nordstrom a d-bag in a post on this same thread. as far as debating lacrosse with my lack of friends, i haven't been keeping count but i'm pretty sure you have a whole lot more stupid posts on here than i do. i'm also pretty sure mercer island is more hick than the city of seattle. and you still can't spell.

Those guys are all pretty good, but 5 going AA from one team? That's pretty crazy especially considering by that year (Class of 2010) the rest of the state is catching up to MI. I think Beckwith definately will, but I don't think all of the other four will. I'm sure some other teams' players will get in there (AA) before MI has a 4th or 5th guy go AA. You're right, though, they are all definately great players.

i looked at the stats and the leading goal scorer for freshmen is cole nordstrom of bellevue. he can definetly play ball

Taylor Dean, a freshman that is playing for curtis this year defenintly has some potential and is already off to a great start this year.
