After two days of play-off games the final four are set for D1 and D2. Comments, predictions etc?
D1
BI vs. MI and Garfield vs. Issaquah
D2
Eastlake vs. Skyline and Lynnwood vs. Overlake.
yup, I sure hope its
yup, I sure hope its garfield vs mercer in the championship. im betting it will be too...
Bainbridge vs Issaquah
I think the final game will be Bainbridge vs Issaquah, and Bainbridge will win state.
garfield vs. MI
although bainbridge and issaquah are both excellent teams, neither drew snyder nor kevin mahoney can be stopped. i would like to see BI vs issy because it would be a much better game, but it think it will end up being mahoney's team vs snyder and montoya's in the finals.
p.s. danny hoffman is also good.
Quah vs BI
i dont really know why but i feel it
plus i like Issaquah more than the others
MI and Garfield in Finals
MI takes BI in a thriller 9-8 and Garfield beats Issy by 3, 11-8
Issy vs. Bainbridge
Garfield's performance against Curtis yesterday in a 12-7 win doesn't look like the team that will take Issaquah out of the mix. At the same time, I didn't see the Issaquah game, but 12-8 to Prep isn't a big win either. Bainbridge at home against a Mercer Island team that may be finally getting it all together, will be a good game, but I think BI will win out at home by 2 or 3.
Garfield will take the lead until the last 8 minutes of the game, and Issaquah will win by 1.
Final score of BI vs. Issy 13-9 in the championship.

keep in mind that for their last few games curtis has been playing pretty exceptional compared to the rest of their season. so a 12-7 win may be more dramatic than meets the eye.
