Predictions for Champion in D1 (next year)
Submitted by ilax17 on Mon, 2006-05-22 20:08.
I never think it is to early to predict who will come on top next year.
My predictions are kind the same as this years final four, but i think bellevue will be in the final four over garfield
My predictions are for the final four
Bainbridge
Mercer
Issaquah
Bellevue
For the chamionship game I will then say it will be
Bellevue vs. Bainbridge
I dont think Issaquah and Mercer can't make the finals again this coming up season.
Even though that will make a very good game once again.
Then in the champion ship game Bainbridge will then come out on top over Bellevue.
Mercer's streak of
Mercer's streak of championships will end. They lose their entire starting d, there starting goalie and Kevin Mahoney. Even with these players they still lost 5 games. How many are they going to lose next year? And you say that they can rely on strong JV players coming up. They didn't even have the best JV team. Bainbridge was the best JV team. Look to Bainbridge to dominate next year.
no. way.
Mercer had the best JV team by far. They just lost to make it interesting
no, they lost because
no, they lost because bainbridge plays varsity down. And they wear white to an MI home game just to make MI have to wear away uniforms (when they have away jerseys with them).
Bainbridge has no reason to
Bainbridge has no reason to play varsity down. They have enough players on each Varsity and Jv to play competitively. By the rules of lacrosse if Mercer really wanted to they could wear there whites. Bainbridge would just have to change there jerseys.
hmm
If they really wanted to they could wear their whites? Mercer was the home team. Bainbridge just can't choose what color they want to wear becuase they like white better. It is a simple rule of respect that I have seen every other team in Washington follow except for bainbridge two years in a row now. But hey, maybe it was a mistake? Two years in a row. I know for a fact they played varsity players down becuase i looked at the roster. I'm not saying that they aren't a good team, but they should show a little repect. All I'm asking is for them to wear their away jerseys(becuase they have them), and to not playing down varsity players so they can win a JV game.
First of all, Bainbridge JV
First of all, Bainbridge JV has only white jerseys. They do not have home or away jerseys or for that matter home and away helmets, like some other teams. Only the Varsity has home and away jerseys. Second, I can guarantee you that no Varsity players went down to play JV. The Varsity actually pulled up people from JV for the playoffs. Everybody just got beat by a really good sophmore class that will dominate in the next couple of years.

It's T-H-E-I-R. Like the possessive their. Not the "Hey, look at Kevin scoring over THERE."
Thanks.
we did wear white...(it was
we did wear white...(it was OUR home field)...and they did change their jerseys...but they started with possesion as a penalty towards us for making them change...stingey bainbridge ideas.
I think the whole thing with
I think the whole thing with the jersey thing from what i heard is that BI JV only had white jerseys and mercer had both, but mercer didnt change. So the BI team ended up wearing practice jerseys. So i think both teams were trying to sting each other.
lets settle this
good, so we all agree that mercer JV dominates, and BI obviously needs to get some more jerseys. Playing people down is way low-not to mention lying about it.
Viva la MI JV
for the hundredth time, they
for the hundredth time, they did not play anyone down. Check the rosters. Not a single kid was from varsity. After the last jv game, and ONLY after the last jv game, about 5 or 6 kids got brought up to varsity. they never dropped down players
wow there
there may have been some people who were on the varsity roster at the beginning of the season, but when it got going visco obviously decided that they were not ready for varsity play. and the goalies switched part way through the season. there is proabably no players who played in any significant varsity games.
Hmm...
Are you sure they didnt play anyone down? Cuz I saw the same player playing in both games...hmm..I wonder what that means..
Next year....
basically, its going to be an amazing season next year. It is going to be a war; with exciting wins, murders, and upsets. Next year is going to be one with the most exciting lacrosse games, and I cant wait to play and watch, and hopefully bring MI another state championship. Practice hard over the summer cuz you're gonna have to be prepared to face Mercer next year.
