ALL AMERICANS

Congratulations to the three All-Americans this year, Jason Montoya, Drew Snider, and Kevin Mahoney. Garfield put up two All Americans this year and there coaches must be feelin pretty awesome. Who do you guys think the honorable mentions should be, or just other people who had the playing ability to make All-American?
Snider
I was just wondering if anybody knows what Drew Snider's post high school plans are. I read on laxpower that he is going to Loomis Chaffee. Is this true, and if so, is it so he can play back east to get better recognition from D1 progams? I have a friend who attended boarding school after high school to play junior national hockey and help him get recruited, so I thought snider may be trying to do the same thing. Or is he going there solely for academic purposes?
a solution!
We will have a Drew v. Kevin braveheart to crown the true uncontested all-american. Kevin can have Montoya, and Drew--Garrett.
Drew having more votes, gets the "#2" goalie
Kevin having less votes, gets the "#1" goalie
We can take wagers on who wins
buckets.
FINALLY A LOGICAL SOLUTION!
All this debate over who is better finally has a logical solution by, you guessed it, Mason Smith. The last time I remember Mason in a logical situation was when He and Nick were pushing that kid into the corner while he said how gorgeous Mason was...
wait a second..
last time i checked, that was you
...
yeah whatever, I think drew is better than kevin too, but thats for all of the people on the mahony bandwagon
Cammy
Put your money where your mouth is metro...
I would, but if I bet you
I would, but if I bet you and won I know the check would bounce
Genius
Thats Genius Mason, Im serious.
P.S. $5.00 on Drew
I played with bearson this
I played with bearson this year on eastside and he carried us through all of are games. Every team knew that bearson was our offense and he still scored goals everygame so i think that deserves the all-american award
one goal?
one goal is the difference between a winning a championship or walking away being issaquah, jkjk, but seriously kevin mahony is sick, if any player deserves it it should be him, the MVP of D1.
I agree with Shiffy
Kevin is a beast, he is a very deternmined he is a great, great player and a nice guy too. he is relaible when you need him (or greg like in the last bainbride MI game) Please spell the mahony without the "e"its MAHONY!
Gerrard
Mike totally deserved it over mahoney, holding him to one goal each time Issaquah played Mi.
gerrad is good but not better then Kevin
I agree that Gerrad showed his stuff not allowing kevin many scoring oppurtunities but kevin is still amazing
get it right
How bout we learn how to spell Mahony, before we trash a God.
Yes, seriously, I have seen
Yes, seriously, I have seen Mahony rain down sulfur upon the sinful masses, he is one vengeful individual.
Gerrard
Gerrard... Dont need to say any stupid stuff or "miracles" hes done, He is just a better lacrosse player
Gerrard
Gerrard... Dont need to say any stupid stuff or "miracles" hes done, He is just a better lacrosse player
I heard he parted Lake
I heard he parted Lake Washington once.
I heard he won 3
I heard he won 3 championships.
NOPE
no he didnt.
yea
he did i saw him...
oh yes
he did it by just willing it. hes that strong
If you will it dude it will
If you will it dude it will come
bearson
i think if bearson had been on a better team he might have had a shot. obviously this year mahony deserved it over bearson, but if bearson had played for MI and mahony played for eastside it mightve been different
bearson
i agree, i've played with bearson in summer leagues and indoor leagues, and not only was he an amazing player, he was a fun guy to play with... When we played eastside, bearson was clearly their offense... when the rest of your team is having a hard time completing passes, it makes it hard for your best player to get the stats...
agree
I played with Bearson a while back and he was a main contributor to the team from the get go, even as a freshman. He also is pretty good at face offs. I also believe that if mike gerrard would've played his entire junior year he may have looked like a better cantidate. I dont know though, but I could picture both of those guys up there in the running.
