Walax Washington Player of the Year - Boy and Girl

Last year we crowned our first 'Walax Player of the Year' in Drew Snider.

If you've seen the back cover of the Walax Evergreen State Annual you'll see that it's well worth winning the title this year, not only for the bragging rights that it gives you but also for the great 'crown and scepter' you win.

This year Cascade will be awarding the Walax Washington Player of the year a Cascade CPX/PolyPro helmet and stick.

We'll be crowning a 2007 girls and boys champion at the end of the season. It's going to take more than 'mad skills' though to win this. We are looking for someone with the 'whole package' - a diverse player with expectional skill, someone involved in the local community and an someone that really personifies -  'Sportsmanship'

So are you the PofY? Maybe a coach or parent of the winner?    Maybe a teammate who thinks this person is flying under the radar and would never get looked at for the award.  Whoever you are, everyone has an opinion and we want to hear them.  This award is open to both D1 and 2 as well as Varsity A and B.
