Walax Camp and Summer League Scholarships
Submitted by walax on Fri, 2006-05-26 17:27.
I think you'll all agree that Walax has changed considerably this year, it's been our aim to bring you the best possible lacrosse experience, whether that be in the form of news, game recaps, leagues, camps or free clinics.
One of our long-term aims is to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to experience lacrosse, wherever they happen to be located or whatever their financial situation. It's a pretty tall order and not something we can achieve overnight but it's definitely a worthwhile goal.
To this aim, we'll again be offering a number of boy's and girls camp scholarships and summer league places.
The Walax summer league starts on June 12th therefore we need to have these submission by June 9th. Summer Camp submissions should arrive no later than June 15th.
If you would like to apply for a camp or summer league scholarship please send us an email with the following information:

The Jensen family (Lisa, Dallas, & Cruz) are very appreciative of the generosity of WALAX. The scholarships made the difference in getting them into the game (and off the streets). After the first practice we could see they love the sport and had tons of fun. I'm sending them to the Norman Rockwell El. School for wall ball. Thanks again, for your scholarship program.
LAX,
Bob
