Vashon DII CHampionship

Do you think Vashon would have won the DII championship had it not moved up to Di last year?

ya they would have won D2, but why? the whole point of D2 is to develop enough to get to D1. There is no point in staying in D2 after youve won it.

first of all, almsot any D1 team would have won the D2 title if given the opprutunity. secondly, Vashon was a D1 playoff contender and had it in them to beat a Mercer Island team in one of the biggest upsets in WA lax history i would say. vashon would have owned D2

Uhh...wait wait...you're saying that MI beating Vashon was an upset?? You better be joking cuz it was no upset. Everyone knew MI was gonna beat Vashon and the only reason we didn't the first time was because we played like middle schoolers. MI beating BI might've been an upset but MI beating Vashon definately isn't

Vashon went out of an undefeated Division II championship year to go 9-8 in its inaugural season in Division I.

The reason they moved up is because they were obviously ready.

Hands down, Vashon wouldve been in the D-II Championships and most likely would've won.

I dont know who else here saw this years D-II championships, but without slamming anybody/team, there was much improvement needed for either of the finalists before they move up to D-I as Vashon did (compared to Issiquah and Mercer, who were finalists in the D-I championships).

Just my 2 cents. Good job on all teams who made it in the playoffs and the championships.

Vashon could've easily won

Vashon could've easily won DII again. They didn't really have any competition last year in DII the only team that gave em any grief was Overlake the first time we played Vashon and they still beat us by 3 or 4, which was by far the closest game they had all year. Next Game they raped us because they figured us out.
