Private Lessons
Walax.com is now offering private lessons to help develop your Lacrosse skills further, fix your shot, make you play body defense, help you dodge, face-off, or simply catch and throw properly.
So many folks have expressed interest in one-on-one clinic work and the success they have had as a result of their private lessons with Walax coaches that we're making it a regular part of Walax.
Lessons typically last an hour, and can be held at a central location or a field near you. All of our coaches have coaching experience and have taught Lacrosse to all ages of Lacrosse in their experience.
Most importantly, they all love the game of Lacrosse and want you to love Lacrosse for the rest of your life. If you want to help master some fundamentals or learn a new advanced check, we would love to help! Contact Us to schedule a session.

Fred Wilmot – is currently the Head Coach at the University of Washington for the Huskies Lacrosse Club after serving as assistant during the 2005 season.
In 2004, he founded the Seattle Starz Lacrosse program, and coached the Elite Starz team to the title of “Best in the West” in the summer of 2006. Prior to the inception of Starz, he coached the Adrenaline Team Washington High School travel team. Fred is is also the the Seattle Starz Director and NW Regional Director.
Fred is the former Head Coach at Seattle Prep coaching there since the program’s second year, winning a Division II championship as an assistant and placing 3rd two years in a row in Division I as head coach.
He is a DI defenseman from Navy and played his High School Lacrosse in Virginia. Fred also runs the Crease Monkey camp series after founding the Crease Monkey Men's team, plays in international tournaments with the Crease Monkeys, and coaches at clinics in some of these places as well. Additionally, he runs the Warrior e-camps with Brian Silcott, head coach of the San Francisco Dragons over the summer.
Fred coaches at Walax.com leagues and clinics as program creator for youth through High School for Walax.com. Fred has also been the Northwest Scouting coordinator for Laxscout, a premier scouting service helping kids increase their marketability to College Coaches. An avid student of the game, and passionate player, Fred enjoys passing all of the gifts Lacrosse has given him, to everyone else.
