Lacrosse World Games Have Local Involvement

Everyone is caught up in the current “World Cup” which happens to be the Soccer World Cup.  In just two short weeks, the Lacrosse World Cup begins bringing teams from around the world to participate in the celebration of Lacrosse.  London, Ontario is the site for the International gathering, and will boast some of the best players in the world on the fields there.  Among the those players, several local players will be attending from Washington:
We will see Crease Monkey Masters members Marc Bissell, Anthony Spinelli, Matt Cone and Hugh Barber take on the best masters teams in the world.  At the same time, Cone, Barber and Dave Piechowski will also be coaching the Danish National Team in their first appearance at the world games.  We will follow these guys as they play and coach in the two-week event.
Last but not least, Erik Timmreck, former Seattle native moved to Ireland, will be playing on the Irish National team as a player-coach.  He recently faced the US National Team and played against the Powell's in an exhibition game.  Stay tuned to follow the World games as they unfold for our local players, but also for the international community!
