Jennings Still Interested In Seattle

It's not entirely new news, we brought you this story earlier in the year but once again NLL Commissioner, Jim Jennings has spoken about the potential new NLL teams for the 2008 season as well as the possibility of the summer outdoor season.

Jennings said in his annual state of the league address Thursday that the NLL is looking at Salt Lake City, Boston and Seattle as possible destinations for expansion franchises.

Jennings also addressed reports that the league is considering the introduction of an outdoor league with as many as six teams.

"We're still studying it," Jennings said. "I can tell you that our owners are committed to moving forward with it. We still are formulating a plan for it and we're committed to doing it."

He said an announcement is still likely at least a month away.
