for players wondering what gear is the best out there, tell us what you think

Calling all Monday morning quarterbacks - The final scores have just come in and another season draws to a close.  Give us your feedback on the Championships, the games, the players.  What or who really stood out?  What didn't ? What could you watch over again and what you would pass on given the choice?  You tell us!

OK, time to talk Championships. Give us your score predictions.

Last year we crowned our first 'Walax Player of the Year' in Drew Snider.

If you've seen the back cover of the Walax Evergreen State Annual you'll see that it's well worth winning the title this year, not only for the bragging rights that it gives you but also for the great 'crown and scepter' you win.

This year Cascade will be awarding the Walax Washington Player of the year a Cascade CPX/PolyPro helmet and stick.

They Annuals are officially finished.  We gave our over 50 last night just at a couple of games and will be at the Bellevue game over on MI tonight.  They will be at the NW Invitational all weekend so just look for someone with a Walax jacket.

We'll also have them in Breakaway tomorrow (4/6) so you can collect them over the weekend.  Remember that Breakaway now has a store in Seattle as well so you an drop by either store to get a copy.

Can the Huskies stretch their win-streak to five in a row with a victory over the Rams?

Last night it was UW's first midfield line of Ben "Chooch" Johns (Arapahoe HS, Colorado), Chris Hutchinson (Issy) and Ross Maloney (BI) pouring in twelve goals to power the 19-16 win over Texas Tech. Who wil be the heroes tonight?

5pm inside Dempsey Indoor Fieldhouse. Following the URI v UW game will be Texas Tech vs Simon Fraser at 8pm, which should be a really fun game to watch, especially if you enjoy watching Goalies dig the ball out of the cage and injured bodies being carried off the field.

I can't believe the holidays are so close.  Saying that what are the hot lacrosse items that you'd like to get this year.  Tell us what you want and why?

You never know, Santa Walax may pick one item to deliver to you!

There is no E in Mahony. I know it might sound like there is, but there isn't. More people mess it up than get it correct.

The Seattle Elite Starz finished second at the Sonoma Shootout losing only to the winning team from Maryland, and on the way becoming the best in the west.

We're about to release our Boy and Girl Player of the Year Awards along with a 'Year in review' recap.

While you are sitting on the edge of your seats waiting  why not tell us your lacrosse highlight of the year and why.  Was this season better than those of previous years?

I didn't go... :(

New website is up and running. Media section up soon, expect updates. http://www.huskylax.com

Is any one else going to Western and playing lacrosse.

It's been a great day at Memorial Stadium so far and we hope everyone has had a great time.  Tell us what you loved about the championships, what you didn't like and what great ideas you have for making it better next year.
