In case you didn't see the opener, Long Island obliterated the once-champion Bayhawks 17-11.  Baltimore is not only under new management, but has a new coach, and has lost 20 players from last year.  Bottom line, this is a whole new team.  Long Island still has a nasty defense in Polanco and Gagliardi as well as super human keeper Cattrano.  "The Monster", Tim Goettelmann has a superstar day with more than four goals on the crease.  Polanco held MLL offensive wizard Mark Millon to two goals on the day.

Hey, what is up with Washington not having a pro lacrosse team. Just last year I heard we were going to get one and we still don't have on. Maybe we didn't have enough skilled players.

The MLL exhibition games had a reasonable turnout across the West last year but do you think it will be a sustained turnout for the new expansion teams this year?
