who will be in the Final Four of the PNCLL?
I believe that the final four within the PNCLL should be Oregon, OSU, Simon Fraser, Washington in that order. I believe that the Oregon Ducks will go undefeated in conference play. Having already knocked off SFU, they made it significantly easier on themselves to assure the #1 playoff spot. Oregon State has already beat Washington and SFU making them 5-0. Even if they lose to Oregon, and SFU wins out, they still win the tie break for the #2 spot. Although Washington is 0-3 in conference play, look for them to bounce back. They just got done playing the top of the conference and the rest of the conference games shouldn't be as bad. Although, Boise State, Gonzaga, and Idaho still cannot be counted out. Each team has shown glimpses of a coherent squad.
As for the final four in MDIA of the nation... still far too early to tell.

UW loses 4th place hopes
UW loses 11-6 and with it their chances of the 4th place in the playoffs
4th team in the PNCLL Tournament
Playing for the Dub, I would say we are going to make it. Idaho shouldn't be a problem (from what Ive heard they're practice squad football players with sub-par stick skills). So then it comes down to the Gonzaga-UW game this weekend. UW must win by more than one and then they're playoff-bound. A few reasons why I think we'll make it:
1. Beat Gonzaga in Fall Ball.
2. None of their players have a dirty Morrison moustache.
3. Fixed a LOT of problems on offense this week at practice, well see how it goes in games
4. Dicks is far better than Zips
and LASTLY,
5. Senior Leadership
oops
got a little over confident?..always respect your opponents. no matter what happend in the past.
ya
ehhh oregons got a good team.
washington
The UW cannot compete this year in the PNCLL. Putting up only 5 shots in the first against a decent UO team is absurd. Unless Cone turns that team around asap the huskies wont be that 4th spot.
Well....
Who do you think will take that fourth spot away from washington?
rest my case
as stated at the begining of the season I felt that UW could not compete with the offensive production of other PNCLL teams..
Lets recap the scores for
Lets recap the scores for Oregon this year in the PNCLL.
UO vs Boise St 4-22
UO vs Idaho 2-19
UO vs Gonzaga 4-20
UO vs Simon Frasier 10-9
UO vs UW 10-3
Looks like the huskies kept it closer than most of the other teams in the PNCLL. When it comes to matching up against other teams in the PNCLL, it looks like their offensive production is farily average. However, as the scores and reports suggest defensively the Huskies are ahead of the teams competiting for a 4th spot. I understand your comment about offensive production... its dismall right now... but to say they cant even compete in the PNCLL this year even though they have one of the better defensive units in the league is a bit dramatic.
Still far too early to tell
The top three spots have been locked up by Oregon State, SFU, and Oregon. Its more of a question about who will battle for that coveted 4th spot. While history would suggest Washington should take 4th in the PNCLL, you still cant take away the lingering question about Boise State. Spending their existence in perhaps the strongest conference in MDIA (the RMLC with BYU, Utah, and Colorado State), their switch the PNCLL leaves many wondering just who these boys are and can they play?
