Should the Men's 'A' and 'B' leagues merge to help grow the game?

Men's Leagues

Will the two leagues join to even the caliber of Lacrosse and continue growing?

The Importance of a C league

The inclusion of the Men's C league into a massive Men's Club league would entirely defeat the purpose of its initial creation -- to expose lacrosse to adults and recruit them to become MUCH needed referee's!!

I don't think this is a good idea...

For the sport to grow, we should follow the rec soccer league model of creating more levels of leagues not less. With the newly formed Men's C League, there will now be 3 levels of play for mens lacrosse, giving more options for more players to play...and as they improve or get olde, they can move up and down...

nope

I don't see how merging the leagues would "grow" the game in anyway. I guess I agree with Cone's comments, more options for players of different skill levels to play is the best model in my opinion.

Agreed

I think that its a great idea to have different leagues. It will give the newer players a place to get better, but more importantly it wont bring down the level of play in the A league. I think the last thing we want is for some of the more experienced guys to start quiting because the level of play has gone down.

Amen

True words, true words

Then again....

For the time being I think it's important to have the various levels, and I'm 100% behind the idea of the C-league, though I was skeptical at first. However, with the sport growing as fast as it is and the increased availability of talent coming into the club leagues, I think it's only a matter of time until we're seeing more parity between the A's and the B's.
Whether the leagues should merge is a question for a later date, but I'd like to see some non-league games back in the schedule at some point.

inter-league games

I know the Monkeys have been doing it still, I know a few other teams have as well.  At the very least, I think these are good fun and refreshing to play against people other than the same old nepatistic teams in the A league.  I also know there was a boycott for some time about playing A teams, although I never knew why.
