Best D head?

I am in the process of purchasing a new head for defense. I've used many older heads such as the revolution, X2, and the edge but the Wizard was easily my favorite. Since the Wizard has been discontinued what new head do you think is the best all around d head? Revo Pro? E3?

the bionic.

the bionic is by far the best d head out there. stiff as hell and pretty durable, had mine for three seasons and its still going strong as ever. i don't understand how you break so many heads. do you just hit them against walls or just stomp on them them for fun? quite clowning. get a bionic.

heads

I had the Bionic for several seasons, and it is strong, however, I would go with the Warrior Stiffi (although it is much more expensive). It is stronger than the Bionic and is much lighter; the Bionic is just about the heaviest head out there. Although for a defenseman, you can't really go wrong either way...

the stiffi

don't get me wrong. the stiffi is one legit head. but come on. its pushing 200 dollars. and we play defense. who cares about how much our stuff weights. more weight equals harder checks in my book.

How about the strongest head?

I spent over 200 dollars on heads this season. Tried the wizard twice, both broke in about a month; tried an X2, broke in a week; now I am using the Brine Cyber because it was the cheapest unstrung head at breakaway. I am playing at college next year and the head is the only piece of equipment my team won't pay for. So I am really wondering, what is the strongest bloody head on the market? I don't want to have to spend money from my mealk plan to buy lacrosse equipment. Anybody found a head that just lasts?

Ummm

I couldn't tell you if it was the strongest or not,
but i used a pinched edge (short stick) and it's pretty stiff and strong, and if strung right can have a great pocket.

so i vote normal edges, cheap too.

If you use an edge

You should double string the side walls. Meaning you take one sidewall string and just loop it down the sidewall (not connecting it to mesh). Then go back with another string and loop the mesh to the first string on the sidewalls. If you do it tight enough you can pull on the outsides of the mesh creating a channel that you would only feel with a smaller throat stick. Just a suggestion, kind of hard to explain. Seriously, the Edge Plus.

Seriously, the Edge Plus. Just buy it, they simply DONT break cuze they pretty much have a completely solid construction.

The Edge Pro Plus ... it

The Edge Pro Plus ... it doesnt break unlike Nick Tierneys heart after losing his English love to Chris Moore

ahaha

haha careful, nick tierney's heart is a sore subject at the moment.

Jakeski, the revolution 2.0 has lasted me an entire season which is pretty good. I mean its pinched too so you would have good ball control, I know you like the stick fakes. I'm sure if it works for me it will work for you.

Wizard

I know that the wizard has been discontinued, but i was at victory sports in bellevue the other day and there were a bunch of wizards that were there for sale

Laxworld.com has them too

I know that some stores have them. I would rather just get used to a head that I can consistently buy .

asdfsadfsdfsdfasdfasdfasdfa

i mean if u know ur gonna be using it a lot and u like it why not buy like 2 wizards or something then if 1 breaks u can have another

Depends

I say its eiter the X2, Revo Pro, G-force, or the Wizard but it is mainly about ur playing style and what ur r lookin for

Lacrosse is where I live
Life is a place i spend time inbetween games

X2

I always sport the X2 by STX. I have like 6 of them. They are strong, wide, and have made many attackman cry. In my oppinion, the X2 is the best D-Head.
