A couple of changes were confirmed when the WHSBLA board met a week ago. Having discussed initial concerns with Lynnwood they were voted up to D1 and will play along with Eastlake and Skyline who are also moving up for the '07 season.
Moving to D2 will be Nathan Hale. D1 criteria says that a D1 team must be able to sustain the numbers required to field a varsity and JV team. They did not meet this criteria in '06. The board mention that several teams have moved from D1 to D2 reorganized, gained strength and moved back up to D1.
Good luck to all of the 4 teams going into the '07 season.
