Stanwood defeat Mukilteo in OT - 6-5

Issy up against Vashon at halftime (recap on front page)

Severson had 4 goals and Headland had 2 in the losing effort.

Issaquah had a big explosion in the third quarter, mostly from Nick Yaap to beat Hood River 12-5. Tied at half, Issaquah came out firing, and allowed Hood River only one goal above the 4-4 tie score at halftime.  Hood River will play Lynnwood Sunday.

Wow, I'm surprised North County beat Mukilteo, primarily because of NC's overtime loss to Whatcom in their first game. It just doesn't make sense that NC would lost to Whatcom, but then beat a pretty good Mukilteo team. Maybe NC came out flat against Whatcom, because it was their season opener. IDK, what's everyone else's thoughts?

Vashon defeats Lynnwood 12-3 at home...Zapel had five for Vashon, Girgus had 2 or Lynnwood.
