Brine Launch The Hypersonic Cleat
A recognized innovator in the lacrosse industry, Brine has continually developed products designed to progress the sport of lacrosse. Long renowned for their heads and shafts, Brine has extended their line of products and has put the same dedication to quality and innovation into their expanding line of footwear.
For the 2006 season, Brine has created a new cleat model, the Hypersonic. Extremely lightweight, the Hypersonic is made with a synthetic upper to allow for easy break-in and better durability on wet playing surfaces.
Lacrosse players can purchase the Hypersonic with either a molded or detachable bottom, depending on their style of play and their typical playing conditions. The molded version is the lightest lacrosse cleat available and features a new molded TPU bottom designed with optimal placement for traction and stability. The detachable version features an outsole with seven removable studs for extra turf penetration and grip in wet or variable conditions.
Kevin Cassese, Assistant Coach for the Duke men’s lacrosse team, is a proponent of the new Hypersonic cleats. He wears them himself along with the No. 2 ranked Blue Devils that he coaches.
“The Brine Hypersonics are the lightest, most form-fitting, athletic performance cleat available to the lacrosse athlete. The molded version is the best cleat on the market for the new field turf surfaces that are popping up all over the country,” said Cassese. “And the detachable version gives you extra traction on a thick grass or mud-slicked surface. They are light on your feet and extremely comfortable, which enables you to play fast and play well.”
Both versions of the Hypersonic Cleat come in black or white, mid or low-top options and are available in stores now. To locate a dealer near you, visit brine.com.
