It seems to me that Tacoma has a better Midi line-up and its because of this. Middies are used differently each game if a team has a better defence you take more screened outside shots if its weak you penetrate so for a team to have that many players voted into the all-state team it clearly shows that they have a good field of vision and they can move the ball and i might be mistaken but i believe they have most of their goals assisted from either the attack or middies on their team. Not taking anything from lynnwood they have a couple ballers on their squad but overall tacoma seems pretty well rounded on midfield

Ok all im saying is middies arent suppose to score thats the attaks job if you have a good attack then the middies dont need to score. Second is Lynnwood has two middies for all state one is first team the other is second. That is determined by coaches not players so they clearly saw that lynnwoods middies perform better than those who didnt make all state.

It says a lot for the Tacoma middies all making all-state since the coaches who see them play vote. 3 coaches in their conference didn't even vote. That's half of the games they played. I imagine the all-state teams would have been a lot different if every coach actually voted.

Do you not know who Drew Snider or Kevin Mahony are. Because they are both midfielders and they lead D1 in points this year.
Ok let me rephrase that
What I meant was it’s the attacks only real job to score points but midfielders have two big jobs play defense and score points. So just because it’s the attacks only job to score doesn’t mean the midfield cant help out even on a team with a strong attack.

If you actually did check the stats you'd see that Tacoma's line has the best numbers. Wigboldy, Wigboldy, Gilson combined for 128 points, where as Lynnwoods top 3 middies had 67 points. Math is fun.
I guess I'm just confused on how 128 points isn't as good as 67?
