Roosevelt's Woes Continue, Spirits Undaunted

The night after a tough game against Mercer Island, Garfield faces another team in Roosevelt. The Roughriders have struggled a bit this year, fighting with the likes of Lynnwood and Eastlake for a win on their record.  Roosevelt has moved some players around from last year filling a void in the cage with defensemen Shaun Hansen, and added some young help in Robert mcVicar to help manage positions.  Tonight, they see if Garfield will be their first victim after their tough battle last night.

To start of the game, Yearsly who has really held the gun to the cage this year, scores first on a Rohrbach feed.  He would be the first of 6, as Max callaghan scores, Jason Travis connects to Roberts, Rohrbach solos, and Roberts solos.
At the end of one, the score is 6-0 Garfield before Roosevelt knew what hit them.

The second quarter, Rohrbach takes over scoring the next three goals, one helped from Max Callaghan, and Madson breaks the silence with his first goal of the night and the first for Roosevelt.  Roosevelt O"Leary to Woodle making it 11-2.  Yearsly finds Roberts for his Roberts' 3rd, and the half ends 12-2 with Roosevelt still fighting.

Opening the second half, Daugherty scores his first of the night, followed by Yearsly who found Roberts for another before he buries a goal from inside.  Yearsly helps another teammate as Graf finds net.  As the third period ends, Roosevelt is looking to break the second half lull.  Garfield leads 15-2.

The fourth quarter shows no relent from the Roughriders, who continue fighting through the next two goals from Roberts and a Rohrbach-assisted goal for Graf.
