Huskies Home Opener Against Montana Saturday March 1st at 1pm!
After their best start since 2003, the Huskies have their most challenging test yet Saturday at 1pm. Montana, former B Division MCLA champions in 2007, look to improve on their 1-0 record in the A division of the MCLA Northwest Conference, known as the the PNCLL.
Local High School talents Bryce Daviess, Sam Cameron, Willie Delius from Bainbridge, and Hale's Sulzbacher, will battle former teammates and rivals alike on a trip back home to Seattle.
The Huskies bring a renewed game, intensity and ability to the 2008 season themselves. Currently 4-1, and 2-0 in the division, the Dawgs are led by a myriad of players from Seattle, and a few from Oregon, notabley the super star Freshman Joey Cramer from Lakeridge, OR. Captain Cam Moore has traded his shooting twig for a goalie stick climbing to the top of the division with a .661 save percentage in 5 games and stifling shooters from all over.
The offense returns almost everyone, including: Captains Sean Forsyth and Chris Hutchinson, Max Irish, Matt Robson, Nick Tierney, with the new talents of Steven Frankel, and the rising defensive stars both all-state selectees and Team Washington players, Tim Wettack and Ashkaan Jaberi.
With playoff implications, the stage is set for an explosive home opener.

can washington lacrosse recruit players or give scholarships?
UW Lacrosse
UW Lacrosse cannot offer "scholarships" like an NCAA school, because it is a club sport at UW. Lots of club programs have started endowments to support helping good players play Lacrosse at the club level at various schools. UW is starting this as well.
As for the recruitment of players, UW, like many other club teams, always tries to find a good match of the student-athlete that can be successful at UW, and gain entrance to UW. We cannot help you get into the school, though interested parties are welcome, and I do go out looking for kids who would fit into that type of environment. for more information, check the Huskies website: http://students.washington.edu/huskylax/
Anyone can recruit, only
Anyone can recruit, only NCAA Division one schools can give scholarships.
Any school that doesn't have an NCAA sanctioned lacrosse program is in the MCLA.
Game just over...
and the dawgs come away with a win in a very close game. Final score 14-13. Write up to come.
