WA Represented at the National HS Seniors Showcase

The "National All-Star Game" of boys' high school lacrosse took place last weekend (6/23-24) in Denver Colorado.  Washington was represented by MI's Greg Mahony. The National High School Seniors Showcase has a final four format and brings together 75 players from 24 states.

Yet again the "East' came out on top with a 15-10 victory over the South.  In the consolation game North came out on top with a 15-7 victory over West. It's the first time in the four year history that North have not been in the finals.

Although this is another year where the West team has come in last it was great to see that our local talent shined.  Greg was the only West player to score in both games. Now that the All Star Game is over he'll be heading to the University of Maryland from July 12-15th for the2008 US U-19 team tryouts.
