Bainbridge Starts Early and Stays Late In Skyline Duel
Submitted by walax on Tue, 2010-05-04 19:20.
Bainbridge has steadily improved to sit in deserved 5th place overall, with Skyline doing the same, sitting just beneath at 6th. After an even first quarter, Bainbridge ran away for a quarter before Skyline almost caught them in the third. In the end, they beat a good Spartan squad. Kudos to Coach K, for what he has done with Skyline, tonight would not be their night.
Week 8: The DII Drop + Power Rankings

The Drop – What’s going on? Its week 8 and the play-offs are right around the corner. Teams are starting to make the push towards Memorial Day weekend and some teams will make it and some teams will not. I still feel that the best team hails in the Evergreen conference but as I look at it now, Lake Washington’s strength of schedule might hurt them. They played Northshore two weeks ago but other than that, their toughest competition looks to be either Redmond or Sammamish. Though they are both good teams only Sammamish could really do anything in the play-offs….maybe. Inter conference play is very weak in general but Lake Washington doesn’t play anyone else. Let this be a rallying cry to whomever comes up with these god awful schedules that their needs to be more inter conference play. Look, if the National League can find it in their heart to play the American League in the Majors, can’t we get a Metro/Evergreen or Metro/Cascade match-up?

The Rohrbach Report: Go to the Stealth Game !!!!

I will be living in Vancouver BC this summer playing Jr. A Box lacrosse for the Langley Thunder Lacrosse club and I am getting excited. I am literally dreaming about being in the barn shooting on an even smaller goal and maybe even giving a few cross checks as well. We all can learn from the indoor game and what better opportunity than to watch one of the best pro teams in the world. The Washington Stealth (Killer Whales?) is competing for the National Championship on home turf!

Garfield upsets Roosevelt 9-8
Submitted by jamison on Thu, 2010-04-29 12:56.Last time these two teams met, Roosevelt easily ran away with the game in the second half defeating Garfield 13-4. That was on the 6th of this month. Yesterday Garfield, behind a stellar performance by Reid Kenny, beat Roosevelt 9-8. This tells me that, DII is literally a crap shoot. Picking a winner is like trying to pick the Kentucky Derby. This year it has been anyone’s game and the team that shows up, no matter the record, is going to win.
