Division 1 Notes:
- ‘The Game of the Week’ featured one of the state’s biggest rivalries – Mercer Island and Bellevue. Hat Tricks from the Boston University commit, Augie Fratt, and freshman Matt Marino helped lift the Wolverines over the Islanders, 13-9, Monday night at Bellevue High School. It was just Mercer Island’s 1st loss in 18 games.
- Tahoma - the state’s highest scoring offense, pulled off an impressive 12-10 win over Bellevue, Saturday night. Hudson Taylor had 5 goals for the Bears in their final regular season game. Tahoma, who will enter the tournament with a 15-5 record, will look to make some more noise in the playoffs.
- The high scoring offense of Skyline went to work Friday night, scoring 11 on a sturdy Woodinville defense to improve to 12-3 on the season. The Spartans will face Bothell, Tuesday night, in their final game of the regular season.
- After suffering just their 1st loss of the season, Mercer Island bounced back fast with a good win over a very talented Issaquah team, Friday night. A 4-goal first quarter was enough for the Islanders to walk away with the 9-6 victory over the Eagles.
Division II Notes:
- Sehome-Bellingham continued their winning ways, dropping Everett 15-7 to improve to 11-2 on the season, and maintain their #1 spot in the Wesco/NW Conference. Nathaniel Heritage had 4 goals in the win.
- Liberty did not have the season that they had hoped for, but they did pick up a big win squeaking by a tough Nathan Hale team, 10-9, Saturday afternoon. It was Liberty’s 3rd win of the season.
- A high-scoring Klahowya team pulled out a big overtime win over Bellarmine Prep to move to 10-4 on the season. Torsten Robinson had 4 goals in the game, including the sudden-death dagger for Klahowya,
