Lake Washington vs Newport - VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS!

There are crazy comebacks, then there was this game. Coach Ian Lee and the Newport Knights have been quite a story this year. Written off early because of early season losses, his team has gained experience and is playing a little bit better every game. They have almost become an upset machine, and even now, when they can't surprise anyone, they've been taking playoff caliber teams to the wire.

Last Friday, they continued their strong play. Lake Washington struck first, but Newport responded, building a 3 goal lead that they managed to maintain deep into the fourth. Down 6-3 with one minute and 10 seconds left, all hope looked lost for the Kangs. Sophomore Connor Campbell took the team on his back, scoring twice in the minute, leading to Elijah Singstad tying the game off a Newport turnover with just moments left. Campbell kept it going in the OT, deftly sneaking through the defense for a point-blank finish.
