Bellevue has appeared in a Washington state boys title game 18 times, while Mercer Island has earned a berth in the finals 12 times. Including last season’s defeat of Eastside Catholic in the Division I state championship, the Wolverines have 11 boys state titles to its credit while the Islanders have won it all six times.
