Game Preview: Eastside Catholic vs Jesuit-Portland (OR)

Tonight, Eastside Catholic will travel to Jesuit of Portland, Oregon. Jesuit is undefeated on the year, and was a state semifinalist in Oregon last year. Last week they impressed at the Northwest Invitational, winning all three of their games. They won handily against Centennial (NV) 17-8, beat New Westminster (BC) 11-8, and squeaked by Skyline 8-7. In their games, they showed themselves to be a very well coached, system oriented team, with solid play in every piece of the game, as well as very good players at every position.

The Eastside Catholic Crusaders, too, have yet to lose a game. Their offensive production has been impressive. Four players - attackmen Ross Komenda and Bryce Atwater, and midfielders Collin MacIlvennie and Blake Lee, have combined for a total of 67 goals and 37 assists. They have been winning their games by an average of 17 goals. Their closest game to date was against the Eastlake Wolves, which they won 13-8.
