3/14 PLU 10 - UW 8 PLU Recap: PLU came out sluggish in large part thanks to the fatigue of a double overtime game against Whitman on Saturday.  The dawgs were up 4-1 in the first quarter before PLU woke up and played some defense.  At halftime PLU was up 7-5.  The game was tight right to the end with PLU coming out on top 10-8.  PLU's bench and fan support made a big difference in this game as our crowd outnumbered UW's 30-5.  Thanks for the hospitality Dawgs. PLU: Pulley 4, Tackitt 2, Booth 2, Rumble 1, Balash 1,
3/14 Western 4 - Simon Fraser 17 Western Recap: With our squad decimated by injuries and Monday morning finals, we could bring only 12 men to battle Simon Fraser. Not the makings of a good game. We were run into the ground in this one. Simon Fraser Recap: Western had a real short bench, only 2 players, I believe.  We were able to take advantage of this and wear them out.  Thanks for coming up to play us, we'll see you in the Final 4. Lewis and Clark:
3/13 PLU 10 - Whitman 9 PLU Recap: Whitman jumped out to the early lead and was up 7-3 at one point.  A strong second half by PLU tied the score at 9 all.  In the second OT Pulley hit Booth in the hole for the game winner.  Great game Whitman, thanks for coming up.  And thank you Jones Soda Co. for the free drinks! 3/6 Western 11 - Whitman 10 Western Recap: Short a few key players everybody on Western's team had to step it up for four quarters and two overtimes, in a thriller.  Possession time and number of shots were crucial for us as Whitman's goalie was outstanding.  Andy Greene led our scoring, but Noah Katka delivered the game winner. Western:
3/6 Lewis and Clark 13 - OSU 5 Lewis and Clark Recap: Lewis and Clark: Dempsy 5, Brown 3, Feingold 3, Obelenski 1, Reardon  1,
3/6 PLU 13 - Linfield 3 PLU Recap: PLU came out shooting and put six points on the board in the first quarter.  After that we looked for bucket goals all day and got some for Henderson, Berggren, and Selfridge.  Linfield played tough all day and hit us hard right from the start.  Give these guys some more experience and stick skills and they'll be winning some games.  The post game festivities were fun for all and PLU's Rookies remain undefeated in the stick races.  Thanks for the game Linfield and good luck with the rest of the season. 2/28 Linfield 1 - Western 20 Linfield Recap: Western Washington did a good job of showing Linfield what a difference stick skills and experience can make.  Not close early with the score 16-1 at the half, it was much better in the second half and managed to stay competitive only 4-0 in the second half. Linfield: Hussey 1,

2/28 Lewis and Clark 0 - UW 9 Lewis and Clark Recap: Brutal Game.  Lewis and Clark's field was thrashed from rain and rugby. Only one ball was swallowed by the field during play. UW: Woods 4, Lampitt 1, Penn 1, Michelman 1, D. Eder 1, Hunter 1
2/28 PLU 8 - OSU 7 PLU Recap: OSU did a great job finding us an alternate site for the game since their field is out of order.  The only thing not enjoyable about this game was the weather, but even the mud was kind of fun.  The referees called a tight game and by preventing rough play really brought out the passing and shooting skills of both teams.  Kyle Berggren made his first career goal and Ecklund led our 5 scorers with 3 goals.  Thanks for meeting us half way OSU.  All that's left to say is: Ayyy Goat! 2/27 PLU 11 - Lewis and Clark 9 PLU Recap: Ground ball domination and hard rides spelled success for PLU.  By keeping the ball on our end of the field and away from Lewis and Clarks talented Attacks we scored a season high total of points and proved that the best defense is a good offense.  Ecklund and Rumble played in their first game of the year and really provided some offensive spark.  This was a great, fun game that came right down to the wire.  Thanks for making the trip Pio's. Lewis and Clark Recap: PLU came out fired up and dominated the ground balls.  Lewis Clark's defense was slugish at the onset and picked up speed as the game progressed. WSU Recap: Again we came out slow in the first quarter which cost us the game in the end. UW came out strong and held the lead for most of the game until the fourth quarter when Kelly, R scored the tying goal, forcing overtime. We couldn't control the ball to get it in our offensive end and UW scored the winning goal with about a minute left. Good game Dawgs. High scorers were Mikkelsen, w/ 4 goals and Kelly, R w/ 3. PLU Recap: Up to half time this was a great game.  A 3-minute non-releasable for an illegal stick opened the door for WSU's shooters to really put it away.  Let's call it a good learning experience for PLU. WSU: Kelly, R 3, Kelly, A 2, Mikkelsen 4, Librande 2, Gray 1, Cheeseman 1 PLU: Balash 3, Pulley 2, Booth 1

2/14 Linfield 2 - WSU 9 Linfield Recap: In Linfield's first game of the year, their very young team quickly saw what the game of lacrosse is all about.  Linfield had a very rough first half, falling down 7-1, with the one goal being scored by freshman Josh Kernen the first time that he touched the ball in a game. The second half was much better and the team really started to come together.  Only losing in the second half 2-1 was a positive sign for Linfield that their young guys had started to figure it out. One had note for Linfield is the loss of senior mid-fielder Frank Lynch with a dislocated shoulder.  Early word from the doctor this afternoon is max 4 weeks.  We can't wait to get him back out there. WSU Recap: Nice way to start off any season. Linfield: Kernen 1, Vandehey 1 WSU: Gray 6, A. Kelly 1, Librande 1, Cheeseman 1

Simon Fraser: Farina 7, Cathrea 6, Lochhead 2, Girotto 2, Fernquist 2, Downey 2, Yuen 1 U of O: Baglien 1, Lauerman 2
2/7 UW 11 - OSU 2 UW Recap: The dawgs came out fighting and never stopped the attack against the beavers in Husky Stadium on Sunday.  The wind and rain were relentless.  The attack played very well for the Huskies as they start the season off on a good note. Thanks to OSU for making the trip up and giving us a good game. OSU Recap: The game started out great, but the dawgs goalie did a great job of shutting us down after the first.  The weather also played a factor, causing us to play sloppy.  UW - Trippett 1, McDonald 1, Prescott 2, Woods 3, Davis 3, Hsu 1, Pollock 1 OSU: Foster 1, Wood 1
