The Redhook Lacrosse Club is starting its second season in the PNLA "A" division. The team is made up of a solid group of guys who want to play hard and win. The team was formed in '98 by Greg Mastretti, Dave Vannoy and Matt Cone. The team's philosophy is to field a small but dedicated roster of guys who want to play traditional lacrosse and get lots of playing time.

Highlights of the 1998 Season:

• Redhook took a great pre-season road(boat)-trip to Victoria. The team fared well going 2-2 against some great competition.
• In a double-header weekend, Redhook lost 2 games in the final seconds to the Seattle Lacrosse Club, defending PNLA Champs'. Tough losses.
• At the PNLA Portland tournament, Redhook came back from a 3 point defecit to beat San Francisco, the defending California state champs.

Season Lowlights:

• Losing Team Founder and all-star Greg Mastretti to a preseason knee injury.

This section will grow as the team makes real history during the coming season(s).
