Here comes the 2nd Gonzaga University Lacrosse Tournament!! After a year off last year due to some scheduling conflicts, the Gonzaga  University Lacrosse Tournament is back. The tournament drew a quality field  two years ago, and we expect the same top competition this year.  The tournament will be held on October 26th and 27th on the GU campus. The tournament field will consist of 6 teams, including GU. WSU and Boise  have  already committed so there are only a few spots remaining.

Here are some facts and details about the event:

• Date: Oct 26, 27
• Location: Gonzaga University, Spokane, WA
• Tourney Format: Round robin on Sat. with elimination format on Sunday-
• Each team is guaranteed at least three games.
• Entry Fee: $250
• Deadline: October 5, 2002

• Awards: trophy will be awarded to the winning team. Tournament MVP will be decided by teams. Fastest shot competition and other contests throughout the weekend.
• Lodging: If your team is on a tight budget for the trip, it may be possible have some GU players host guys for the weekend. Logistics have not yet been determined but if you are interested you can email me. Also contact me for a list of hotels in the area. Good lodging can be found for around $50 a night in Spokane.
• Barbeque: We will be having a barbeque throughout the weekend during the games.
