October 5, 2002: Marc "Slash-King" Bissell, known globally for his devotion to NW club lacrosse, tied the knot earlier this month marrying his long time friend Ria. Pictured above with his brother Scott Bissell, the wedding took place at the Sun Mountain Lodge in Winthrop Washington.

The wedding was attended by many in the NW Lacrosse community and was considered a tremendous event. Dennis Simmons of the Seattle LC, entertained the gathering with his classical Irish fiddle, Hugo Galo of the Barbary Coast LC, rocked the house with his numerous hits, Joe O'Donnell of Portland made a fine roasting toast and Cyrus Krohn slept through most of it recovering from child birth

Definitely the highlight of the weekend however was Marc's accomplishment of getting his bride to agree to be a "loyal lacrosse supporter" as part of her wedding vows. (For Real!)
