About the tournament:

Tropic Relief is a unique nonprofit campaign that combines the discovery and

exchange of sports, arts and culture, with the compassion of a spirited relief

effort to benefit our less fortunate neighbors in the tropical Caribbean,

Latin America, Africa and Asia. Proceeds will go to relief organizations in the

places hardest hit by hurricanes and the tsunami that have plagued the tropics. 

The tournament will pump thousands

of dollars into the Jamaican economy by bringing at least 16 lacrosse teams

to the beautiful island paradise. We will be staying at the beautiful Sunset

Jamaica Grand Resort. All tournament games will be played at Chukka Cove.

In order to provide you with a most excellent experience, the entry fee is to

be paid in full in order to participate. Your tournament entry fee IS

NON-REFUNDABLE and must be paid in full by June 27, 2005. Once registration is

confirmed, the team leader receives the travel instructions that include information

for each team member and travel partner. Due to space limitations the

negotiated travel package is being offered first to tournament participants, their

travel partners next, and finally the general public.

The Tournament Package includes everything: air travel, 4 night�s hotel

accommodations, airport transfers, all meals and drinks at hotel (yes booze too),

and transportation to fields. Participants will fly into Montego Bay Jamaica

arriving on October 6th from the US and all depart on the 10th. The Tournament

Hotel is located in Ocho Rios. The games will all be played at Chukka Cove

a short drive from Ocho Rios. The games begin Saturday morning and

continue into late Sunday afternoon.
