Last weekend at Queen Anne Bowl,the Men's PNLA Championships
battled each other to be the best in Men's Club
lacrosse and the League Title. Collah was on hand to sell much needed
hot dogs in a wild weekend of weather and Lacrosse. Around 200
Lacrosse enthusiasts came out to watch the spectacle with Victoria Lacrosse
Club bringing the cup home for the first time in recent memory followed by
the Crease Monkeys B taking of the B league Championship from incumbent
Coopers!
Causeway and Bigfoot had a fun
game as did Seattle and the Crease Monkeys, all anticipating the big
respective games to watch. Portland seems to be subject to "Victsteria"
as Victoria has long been their arch rival. The same can be said for
Coopers who have long battled with Crease Monkeys (formerly Steelhead).
All things considered, it was nice to see the Lacrosse wealth spread around
with both cups changing hands. With so much parity in the leagues
these days, we may never see another championship dynasty.
