Per Article IV.C. of the WHSBLA Bylaws,
the positions of Division I and Division II representatives will be open
for election at the June 18, 2006 General Membership Meeting.
In addition, a new position for a
Northside Regional Representative was added to the Board at the February,
2005 meeting. The person elected will serve a one year term until all the
Regional Representatives come up for re-election in June, 2006.
These positions are open to anyone. The
WHSBLA encourages coaches, fans, parents, etc to run. Creation of the board
has proven to be a positive move for the league but a strong board depends
on dedicated individuals willing to see the sport move forward.
Candidates seeking election must advise
me no later than June 2, 2005 of their intention to run.
Gail Shelton will announce those
individuals who have elected to run for the open positions on June 3, 2005.
