The Central Washington Lacrosse club was founded
on February 11th 2003. We knew we had
a lot of work ahead us of due to the fact that a
huge percentage of our team were first year
players. We started practicing the next day and
have been practicing everyday since we started.
Everyone on the team has grown as a lacrosse
player and as a person. We practice everyday at
3pm and go until 5 pm, we have to practice
without full pads until all of our equipment is
in. We hope to be having full padded practices
at the beginning of spring quarter. Our roster
currently has 20 due paying players on it and
grows as the weeks go by. The players with
experience coach our team, because we are still
looking for a coach. We hope to enter in the
league for next year, but until then, we are
currently looking for scrimmages against other
teams (if you wish to play us please e-mail me @
[email protected]). Our team is
currently funded by team dues and fundraising we
do throughout the year and we are currently
looking for sponsors if you wish to help us
please e-mail me @
[email protected]). We hope our team
leads to expansion of lacrosse in the area. |
