Saturday March 1st, marked the
first organized Men's Club Lacrosse clinics
targeting beginners and advanced players of all
ages. Six teams organized two-hour clinics
at various places around Seattle to give back
some of their time and knowledge to the game of
Lacrosse. Clinics consisted of everything
from station work to beginners learning to throw
and catch; for the more advanced, Club players
added special situations work. All in all,
more than 175 participants were on hand to enjoy
and experience the clinics. US Lacrosse
donated sticks to the event to help broaden the
membership in what we call the Lacrosse
fraternity. Special thanks go out to Brad
Coulter and all the team captains who organized
the event. Special congratulations
go out to all the attendees for their desire to
play and enthusiasm. What a great
experience! We may see this become an
annual event for the Men's Club League. |
