Milford, MAFebruary
17, 2006 As the Duke Blue Devils prepare for their season opener against Butler
this weekend, the one thing they wont need to worry about is what to wear.
Ranked #2 in most national preseason polls, the Duke mens lacrosse team will be
the first Division I team to be completely outfitted from head to toe in Brine.
My association with Brine goes back over 20 years and the partnership thrives
as much on the relationships with the quality people behind the scenes at Brine
as it does with the outstanding quality of their lacrosse products, said Dukes
Head Coach, Mike Pressler. Duke is very proud to enter into new territory by
becoming the first Brine sponsored team head-to-toe.
When the Blue Devils take the field this season, everything including their
helmets, uniforms, protective gear, sticks and footwear are all part of Brines
new inline offerings.
We enjoy a strong, long-standing partnership with the Duke program and Coach
Pressler, said Ray Hilvert, Senior Director of Brand Management at Brine. Its
appropriate that they receive this distinction. It also provides us the ultimate
platform from which to ground the performance and authenticity of these new,
complementary segments within our business.
