PNCLL Final Four & Youth Clinic (May 1st-3rd)

This Saturday and Sunday at Tahoma HS in Covington, the Pacific Northwest Collegiate lacrosse league will hold their final four and conference championships. This is a great chance to see some of the best MCLA teams in the country clash for a conference championship and a guaranteed national championship playoff berth.

Another part of the event at Tahoma is a great youth clinic being put on by Tahoma Lacrosse and the PNCLL on Friday night. Starting at 7PM, for 20 dollars, youth players can get instruction from college coaches and players from the PNCLL. All registration is walk-up. Included in the price of the clinic is a T-shirt that will serve as a weekend pass to all the games. Daily entry runs 12 dollars for adults or 20 for the weekend, with discounted rates for kids and students.

On Saturday, the tournament kicks off at 11 AM with Division 2 action, and at 2:30 PM will begin the Division 1 semifinals. In division 1, Montana will meet Simon Fraser of British Columbia. Simon Fraser is 11th ranked nationally and appears to be the favorite coming in to win their conference. Oregon will also face Oregon State in the Division 1 semifinals. Oregon State is ranked 24th nationally and are the defending PNCLL champs.

The Division 2 lineup for the same day features Gonzaga against Western Oregon, and Western Washington against Southern Oregon. Western Washington, Western Oregon, and Southern Oregon are all in the top 25 nationally for Division 2. A great slate of tough competition will be found at Tahoma this weekend and we hope to see you out there!
