Bellevue vs West Linn (OR) - VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS!

Last Friday, West Linn of Oregon took the trip up I-5 to meet Bellevue. West Linn came in with an undefeated record full of strong performances, and a lot of reasons to be confident. Winning against Jesuit of Portland, a team that had some success at the Northwest Invitational against Washington teams, showed they should compete favorably.

Bellevue was fresh off a winning trip to Northern Virginia and Washington DC. They took down 3 power programs in St. Stephen-St. Agnes, Langley, and Dominion. To say they were on a hot streak would discount how well they have been playing lately. They continued their strong individual and team play throughout this game, and dominated in team execution, transition, and especially in goaltending, with senior Cole Cansler posting a .714 save percentage on the game.

At the time of the game, Lacrosse Magazine had West Linn ranked at 8th in the west. This week, Bellevue is at 5th, and West Linn is not in the top 10 - a huge statement win for Bellevue and Washington Lacrosse! Bellevue will host Issaquah this Friday in a clash of KingCo titans.
