The major lacrosse media  have had numerous mentions in the past months about the National Lacrosse League's potential expansion plans and the possibility of adding Seattle to its league as early as the 2002-2003 season. Well, the rumors are TRUE!  Due to the tremendous success of The Vancouver Ravens, which averaged over 10k fans per game,  made the playoffs their first year in the league, their owner and gm were honored as Executives of the Year. The franchise is now widely regarded as a model for the league and its desired growth.

Serious due diligence is being conducted NOW, to determine if Seattle would be a successful market for expansion for as early as the upcoming 2002-2003 season. The big question for you: If a team was formed for Seattle Metro area, would you and yours support it through season ticket purchases?

PLEASE complete the online survey below, based on these results and other factors, we may very well have our very own Pro-Lax team here in Seattle!

Please pass this on to your friends and family as well, the more UNIQUE votes we get the better!

Sincerely,

Matt Cone US Lacrosse Washington Chapter - President
