To All Interested Student Athlete Board
Candidates:
The US Lacrosse Washington Chapter Board will meet
on June 11th to among other things
select the Boys and Girls Student Athlete reps to
sit on the USL Board. The board will make
the selections based on written (email ) responses
to the following qualifications. These responses
must come from interested candidates directly, not
your coach or parent. And we must be in possession
of them prior to noon on June 9th.
Qualifications:
-
able
to make the 4 quarterly meetings that are held in
the Seattle metro area
-
have a solid understanding of the Boys or Girls HS
league, its structure, rules
-
ideally, know a decent number of players from
other teams, in other words be well connected
through summer leagues, camps, winter leagues in
order to have a pulse on what other players feel
and to ultimately rally them if need be

a
student body president type of person, able to
work with adults in a professional manner
If you are interested in this position and haven’t
already, please email me a description of
yourself, how you will meet the above
qualification and why you would like to serve on
the board. I will need these emails by the noon on
June 9th. The board will make its selection based
on these written responses at its June 11th
board meeting. If you have already responded, but
would like to send an amended letter or elaborated
letter, please do so before June 9th.
