The Washington Chapter of US
Lacrosse completed its 2003 Girls grant program in January by granting
Seattle Girls School with 10 STX Arcs. With a generous
discount from STX the chapter was able to donate ten $60+ sticks and
loan ten sticks. Pictured below, Sarah Bergman head coach at the Seattle
Girls School accepts the sticks from chapter rep. Steph Cone following
the Jan. 29th Coaches Council meeting in Seattle. SGS will field
two teams this year.
The Washington Chapter of US
Lacrosse is proud to support the new Maple Valley girls high school team
with a grant of a complete set of new goalie equipment valued at over
$400. Maple Valley Coach Jeff Kline received for his new team a
Cascade helmet, throat guard, chest protector, goalie pants, shin guards
and goalie stick.
Each of these programs
submitted grant requests in December and were awarded equipment based on
need. Congrats to all the new programs!
