does anyone know of a "B" league level team forming to go to Vail???? Or a team of college level players?? Is their any interest?

No room at Vail for "B" players...it is the top players in the world unless you are an old fart and want to play on a masters or supermasters team....Tahoe in August is a great tourney...a Club "B" team has gone the last couple of years...

If you can wait for the best Tourney in the west, you should head for LAX VEGAS 99!!! I'm sure it will need some NW representation this year.

Am sure someone will put together a vegas tourney team this year...it is not set yet however...should be late sept.

I posted a message on the WCLL bulletin board re: potential games between California/Arizona teams and our PNCLL teams. San Diego State responded immediatelty saying they would like to host one of our teams. Dates not mentioned. Any interest out there to host a WCLL team up here or road trip down there?

I heard that the UW men's team is going to be pretty good this year with their crew of returners and new players. Watch for Justin Penn at Midfield making a presence for the team.

1)San Diego State (no dates given) 2)UC Davis (no dates given) 3)Santa Clara (no dates) 4) Cal State Hayward -- wants to play somebody in Oregon on March 14th. 2nd year program wants a competitive game.

UW beat Oregon State 13-2, and to top it out the UW goalie scored the final goal of the game!

Lax Vegas will probably be held over Halloween weekend like it was last year. WA needs to represent this year. Contact Kirk Schulz of Source One Events in LV 702-795-7772 for more info on the 99 tournament.

Besides WWU, the PNCLL can't hang with the WCLL. Give the league another 5 years before anyone gets embarassed.

Besides WWU? SFU has dominated the league (including WWU) the last few years.....

Just received word that Games 201 (Western @ Oregon State) and 203 (Simon Fraser @ Oregon State) scheduled for this upcoming weekend (2/13-2/14) have been CANCELLED

Why were those two games cancelled this weekend?

Does anyone know what it costs to rent Arena Sports for a couple of Hours of Box? Do they rent by the hour? Thanks.

OSU Games 2/13 & 14 were cancelled dueto field conditions...Under Water. Hopefully they will somehow reschedule.

PNCLL Coaches or Player Reps must get the league president (Guy Antilla) to approve any and all schedule changes. If you need to change a date or time, want to add another game not on the Master Schedule, be sure to notify Guy and let me know ASAP so I can assign or re-assign the refs.

Only one team has filed a field waiver with me, as req'd by NCAA Rules if your field doesn't meet full conformance with specs. The penalty for a field not meeting specs is stifff -- two men down to start the game. Last year seven teams filed a waiver. Could it be that your fields are all perfect this season?

Arena Sports is very hard to get during the winter...we play at 11pm on Monday nights and they are very good to us..charge is only $5 per person...if you want to rent...call arena sports and ask for tim...he will let you know what they have...and costs

Yeah, I have a couple of questions regarding PNLA rules and regs, in particular, checking, is there a three step rule, etc.. I am going to be playing for the RAINIER's this year, and I haven't played since prep school 5 years ago, so I am looking for the PNLA rules. Any help would be appreciated. Luke

Wy'East is playing Lewis & Clark College in the 8th Annual Alumni Lacrosse Game on 2/14/99. The game is in LC's Griswold Stadium at 1pm. Word has it that the LC Team is having a hard time getting players out to play this year. What's up with that Alex Brown? Are the signs on the wall for a LC loss this year in the annual grudge match?

This is Brian of the emerging Gonzaga University Lacrosse team. I have a huge question to ask of anyone willing to help. We have a band of committed individuals but not enough money to equip everyone. We all have sticks and gloves but desperately need any gear that anyone can donate. Game 303 -- UPS at OSU has been CANCELLED due to unplayable fields in Corvallis. No make-up date announced yet. This is the third "rain-out" at Oregon State this season. The game was supposed to be played on Saturday, Feb. 20.

How has PLU done this year??? Who will win the B league this year ?? are two teams from each division going to play-offs or how is that going to work this year

Congradulations to both WSU and UW on a good game. You got to love the rivalry.

Just a couple notes after the first three weeks of PNCLL play:

Please have your fields lined and ready to go at least an hour before face-off so that the Ref can check it and your opponents can warm up. If you've been penalized for a field not meeting specs, get it right and/or file a waiver with me (UW, WWU and L&C are the only schools who have filed a waiver this year). Call me if you have questions about this.

The home team shall wear white -- this an NCAA and a PNCLL rule. If you have only one set of (colored) jerseys, ask the visitors to wear white, which would be okay, but if the jerseys don't contrast the HOME TEAM must make corrections.

Please be sure to call or e-mail back to the Ref when he calls 48 hours before the game. We need directions to fields and need to confirm game times and this is not always getting done.
