Middle School Mash-up This Weekend!

Middle School “Mash-Up” @ Marymoor Field Complex Sunday February 15th

Dates:  Sunday, February 15th from 11am-6pm. Marymoor Field Complex.

What: The Program is run by Fred Wilmot (US Naval Academy) with the idea being to make field time available for 8 teams to play three games apiece. Our hope is that these young athletes can acquire and condition some facets of their game laying dorment over this winter.

Additional instruction and white board sessions will be accompanying and included in the tournament fee. “Chalk Talks” on game aspects such as riding and clearing, fast break play; man-up man-down and face-off/wing play, one on one play, picks and rolls, odd man transition, fast breaks, half field situations and communication above all else are just some of the areas that we will cover in-between each team’s games. Performing these team based demos will be Founder/Owner AO Lacrosse, Ned Bowen, Defense (All American UVA), Jason Leneau, Midfield UVA, Billy Gladding, Midfield UVA and Jamison Koesterer, Defense Johns Hopkins.

Where: The Tournament will run from 11am-6pm between Field 3 and 4 @ the Marymoor field complex off of 520 in Redmond.

Cost:  $300 per team. Includes 3 1-hour long games within the 11am-6pm time slot and 3 “Chalk Talks” or X’s and O’s discussion with guest coaches on game aspects lasting 25- 30 minutes each. 20 players = $15.00 per player.
