Corinne Shubin, Bellevue High School senior is featured in the Happy Camper article on p. 84 about players' experiences at lacrosse summer camps.

"Theresa Ingram, Brown University's head women's lacrosse coach has met several of her current players at camps throughout the country.  One future Brown player, Corinne Shubin, was a diamond in the rough discovered by Ingram at East/West Sports camp in Santa Barbara.  As it turned out, Shubin, who hails from a real growth area for lacrosse, surprised herself and the college coaches in attendance by proving that she could play at the Division I level.  '..Corinne is the epitome of what a benefit it is to go to a camp in  a growing area.  We really lucked out by finding her,' said Ingram."

Shubin , #28, plays Center for Bellevue's club team, has been nominated to the league's All-star team and has represented the Northwest in National tournaments.  In summer 1999 she earned the MVP title at East/West Sports' lacrosse camp in Santa Barbara.
