One 8 Four 8 As many summer players were still in the midst of finals, a scaterring of players from Teams One and Four played a friendly full-field pickup game of 6 v 6 combining players from both teams to even the sides.   Shooting nets were used in place of goalies to provide some scoring challenge on the fast breaks . This game will go down as a tie.

MD 15 LSL 5 The girls from Maryland displayed stellar stick skills and aggressive defensive checking.  Although they were 13 and 14 years old many had been playing since the age of four and proved that many years of practice produce excellent basic skills.  The mix of players from Laxon Summer League held their own on the ground balls and did not waiver in their intensity despite the score.
