Site of the Month

WALAX.com Voted Site of the Month

It's only been 5 months since WALAX was launched, and we have won our first award. e-Lacrosse, the most extensive Lax site on the web, named WALAX the site of the month for November. Thanks to all that have contributed to getting this site going. Our efforts to show that we in the NW play the greatest game on 2 feet with the best of them is paying off.

From the e-Lacrosse.com site:

THE SITE OF THE MONTH

November, 1997
WALAX, The Washington Lacrosse Association Site has a professional appearance and solid content. The concentration is, obviously, Lacrosse in the state of Washington, but it also covers Oregon Lacrosse teams. Teams from both states participate in the PNLA (Pacific Northwest Lacrosse Association). All levels of the game are represented here with links to the many men's' and women's' clubs and high school teams in the great northwest. Local classifieds, a calendar for all seasons, and a coach's job posting board are nice features. They even have a form for submitting full game box scores to be posted. They have used a few E-Lacrosse gifs, which is encouraged, and have a few very nice graphics of their own. The news section is kept current with fall meeting notes and indoor Lacrosse coverage. Overall, a quality site with good functionality and it invites interactivity. Check out the Hawaii Invitational info too!
